Marc Klok


Marc Anthony Klok is a Dutch-born Indonesian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Persib Bandung and the Indonesian national team. Marc made his professional debut on 9 November 2013 at Ross County vs Celtic. Marc has traveled the world for his career, leaving Holland at the age of 19. He continued playing and winning trophies in countries as Scotland, Bulgaria, England and Indonesia. He arrived in early 2017 in Indonesia, at PSM Makassar where his life and career as a football player changed massively. Driven by a huge passion for the game, Marc became a role model in Indonesia. In November 2020, He got naturalized as Indonesian. 

Marc has a big entrepreneurial spirit outside his playing career. Digital media, real estate, performance enhancement and fashion are his 4 key interests. In early 2016 he started his own Performance Brand, where he wanted to help other athletes get a hand on the best recovery equipment and help them to stay on top of their game, together with Fabian Sporkslede, they created Amplify Sports. Amplify now plays a significant role in the recovery of top-grade athletes like Mathijs de ligt, Philippe Coutinho and Christian Eriksen. Amplify also became an official partner of Ajax, PSV, Redbull, and Technogym.

In Indonesia, Marc has started MK the label to highlight the grey area between sport and lifestyle. To express his journey, positive enthusiasm and energy. So it can be an encouragement for others to make their dreams come true. MK the label is currently limited to fashion but will soon be offering healthy nutrition products to raise awareness on the impact of diet in order to achieve greatness. Perseverance and visualizing on and off the field is the key for Marc to realize his big targets and dreams.
